The account creation action automates the creation of user accounts in the instance.

Note: this action is not available if your instance uses external authentication (for more information on external authentication, see the article Create an instance).

Message

The account creation message will be automatically sent to the users listed in the source table. Customise this message so that it contains at least the following variables:

• [[URL_INSTANCE_PARAMS]]: creates a hyperlink allowing the user to add the instance to the list of available instances in his GTAnswer client
• [[USER_LOGIN]] : the user’s login
• [[USER_PASSWORD]] : the user’s temporary password. This password will have to be changed at the first login.

Data

It is necessary to provide a source table for the data. This table (or view) must necessarily include the following fields:

• The name of the account (which will also serve as the user login)
• The user’s email address, which will be used to send messages and notifications.
• The user’s first name
• The user’s last name
